Suprisingly fast!

I can't believe that Blair's third year in Podiatry school is basically over this week. I've been anticipating the "fourth year" since we started school. I guess I always looked forward to it because I would get to home long periods of time. I am bummed to have to endure another winter on the east coast but maybe be as bad as the winter storms we got earlier this year.

We've been trying to make the most of our time here by visiting beatiful unique places that you don't see on the west coast. So we decided to go to Longwood Gardens. This place is amazing!

The kids really loved the Children's Garden. Max had a blast getting wet and Isela was super happy to play with the water.

Afterwards we went to go see the flowers. I love flowers!

Lastly we decided to take a break on the main lawn.

Carnival, parks and more

A couple of weeks ago we went to a carnival. Max was super excited and begged us to take him on some rides. So we purchased a few tickets and let him choose the rides. Of course he picked the Circus train because he loves anything that resembles a train but his favorite ride was the roller coaster. He almost started crying when we told him the roller coaster was too big of a ride for him but he insisted and they allowed kids his size on it, so we indulged him.

We also took the kids to Castle Park where they happened to be having Touch a Truck event. Max was excited to be able to sit in the driver's seat and honk the horn. His favorite truck the Hummer limo.

Lastly, we finally got Max a kite. Over the weekend when it was super windy we went to the park and taught Max how to fly it.

Lately Max has really been into Pingu (a show about a penguin and his shenanigans). Max loves Pingu and talks like him. He basically yells out LOC LOC for anything. Anyway, the other day I put Isela down for a nap and I went to go put the laundry away when I hear Max yell LOC LOC. So I went to see where he was and he happened to be in his room supposedly saying hi to Isela. At first I was obviously mad that he woke up Isela but she thought it was so funny and was bouncing up and down laughing with Max, that I just had to laugh with them. She loves her big brother and can't stand to be parted from him. When Max is down for a nap I have to keep my eye on her because she will go into his room and start calling for him. So cute. I love my two babies!
